Typically, if one has multiple images selected, entering info in any field in the IPTC File Info automatically checks the box to the left of the field, indicating that the information so entered pertains to all of the selected files. Entering information in the Date field under the Origin tab DOES NOT check the box, and any info entered in that field is stored only to the last file selected. I don't think this is an intended behavior.
