Running Mac OS 10.12.6 on partitioned drive. GC 10.6
Why: Does the slideshow not show the navigation bar? I can find nothing in the preferences to cause the navigation bar to appear.
Why: When using “Edit” in the slideshow tool bar is it not possible to save edited image (jpegs)? I get an error message and sometimes a message saying I don’t have privileges and must sign in using Admin privileges.

Re: Two Questions RE 10.6
1)
Just uncheck the marked checkbox to make the toolbar permanent visible.
The toolbar appears by default if you touch to top center of the screen with the mouse. 2)
Do you use the normal or the Mac App Store version of GraphicConverter?
Where are the files stored?

Re: Two Questions RE 10.6
Answer 1: Thank you, I just did not understand the function of the navigation bar preference you have shown me. I have unchecked the box you have indicated.
Answer 2: I must say first that having Apple intrude in the historically normal way of purchasing software and software upgrades just complicates the once simple process. I did not know how to AVOID getting the "app store version" so that is what I am using. The files I am currently working on are stored in a partition of the primary boot drive (I maintain two boot drives in my Mac Pro).
I have two other drives (of 4 total) using for RAID storage of additional images (Personal and Professional are kept separately). Three places in all: I sometimes also edit images I have just taken or downloaded and those I keep temporarily on my Desktop in the Primary Boot Drive. After editing, I normally store all my work on my RAID drives and delete from my Desktop.

Re: Two Questions RE 10.6
CORRECTION: the instructions you gave for making the "navigation bar" appear/disappear do not work! The change you indicated (unchecking) apply only to the TOOL BAR not the NAVIGATION BAR. There is still no navigation bar when I run a slide show.
Never had this problem prior to following recommended "upgrade" to 10.6.

Re: Two Questions RE 10.6
I did not change anything related to the slideshow with the 10.6.
So, you mean the forward backward arrows?
Also, what happens with the normal version directly from our website?
Just e-mail your receipt to support@lemkesoft.de from the Mac App Store.
I will issue a normal license.

Re: Two Questions RE 10.6
Hello and thank you for your response.
1. Yes, by "navigation bar" I mean the forward/backward arrows.
2. I have emailed a pdf copy of my App Store receipt.
I look forward to downloading a more useful original copy of GC 10.
If I have any more questions I will post it or them here.
Again thank you.
