When I click on the information icon I see, among other items, Map. At present it shows part of a world map centered , I think, on latitude 0 longitude 0'
I have a feeling that it should show the position at which the image was made e.g.
-- GPS IFD --
GPS tag version: 0,0,2,2
North or South Latitude: N
Latitude: 50°26'13.59" 50.43711
East or West Longitude: W
Longitude: 3°33'32.17" -3.55894
Altitude reference: Sea level
Altitude: 4294967289.0m
GPS time (atomic clock): 14:49:31
Name of GPS processing method: FUSED
GPS date: 2017:01:11
But I cannot find out how to achieve this as default - or, indeed, at all.
I expect it's quote easy, but I admit defeat.
Incidentally, the Help Manual says "With Window / Show Locations you can show the Locations palette." but I can't ind it.
I am using version 12.0.9 (6362) [a beta version]

Normally the position should be shown in the map palette.

Re: How to use the Map?
Thanks for sending your sample image to our support email.
The browser display the position in the map perfectly. So, maybe the application prefs are corrupted.
Please try to trash them with our First Aid Tool:

Re: How to use the Map?
That has corrected the problem. Thank you.
Now to remember what my other settings were! Maybe I'll just run on the defaults FTTB.
