Slow Slideshow

To check it out I opened in the browser a folder containing 21,000 jpg files all of which had previously had preview images created. I sllected all and opened slideshow with OA-G. In the begining there was a pronounced delay of a long second each time I clicked for the next image. Had to take a well deserved break and when I came back the delay between images was gone. Upon clicking for the next image the response was immediate. Hope this helps.
