OMG!! - GC8 did not save my image!?

Well I used TERMINAL to do this ... Nope I know sys. 9 and it was juvenile to me.... I am from that Panther era...They [Apple] are rewriting OS calling this an Update. I can post a long screen shot of all the file sys. listings if you want? Since v.10.6 is passe i suppose they can hide stuff? The user's library folder is hidden (by default) on Mac OS X 10.7 and 10.8. See http://gothick.org.uk/2011/07/19/reveal ... ry-folder/ for ways of returning the situation to "normal". Harry.
