[Solved] Rotating twice ... ?

with my new MacBook, and re-installed Graphic Converter, whenever I rotate an image that needs a CW90 it is rotated twice, i.e. 180° instead of 90 CW. The Thumbnail is after the rotation correct, the image rotated 180 degree. Then I have to rotate it counter clockwise to have both Thumbnail and the image "correct".
What is Wong in my settings?

Hi,

maybe the exif orientation tag cause this.

Please select first in the browser the rotation by Exif:

Thanks Thorsten,
yes this way it works.
But that way it will not be possible to use cmd+r.
When I do the "standard" rotate 90 CW, the orientation tag shows "Horizontal (normal), however the image is rotated 90.

In my preferences I have set "rotate image according to EXIF Orientation" (first attachment)

Second attachment is after clicking rotate cw 90
Third attachment is the initial picture

Thanks for the sample file and settings.

The issue is caused by using the Exif thumbnail. Because the Exif thumbnail has a different orientation.
Such a case is now solved.

I released a new beta.
Please check:
http://www.lemkesoft.org/beta.html

You may have to use Refresh in the context menu to reread the folder content.

Thanks Thorsten,
perfect! After removing the the "use exif preview if available" from my settings it works fine.

Will contact you again on issues with OneDrive on Monterey :)
