Both the preference and also its mention in the manual should be more specific.
Which specific timestamp should be kept?
Creation Date, Modification Date, Date Last Opened?
Would appreciate that precise info. Thanks.

Thanks. Now it is clear what it does.
Readability improvement: Subtitle/explanation text below a checkmark label should be aligned with the text or even more to the right.
