[Solved] RGB Color Table

Hi!

I am trying to save a few specific RGB colors to use in a project.

In the colors window I finally figured out that I can go the RGB Sliders tab, type in a color-code, and then drag the color over to the little boxes below to save it.

However I can't figure a way to then delete one of those color boxes if I decide against that color, or to re-order them, or label them?

If I try to drag a new color onto a box that is already filled, it won't put it there, just put it in the next new empty color-box.

I tried the manual and also online searches, but can't come up with an answer.

And is this the best way of going about saving a selection of colors for a particular project?

Thanks!

The color picker is managed by the macOS and not by GraphicConverter.

Just drag and drop from the large color field to the small fields.

Hi thank you!

Yes I got that, but it seems like once a color is dragged and dropped into one of the little boxes, I can't figure out how to manage the little boxes?

You can drag them around and change their order, but tha't aboput it.

You can't delete the color from one of the little boxes?

Or at least I can't figure out how to delete the color.

Right-clicking, deleting, or any other way I can think of to delete or clear a color just doesn't work?

There is no naming mechanism either, so I have to keep a sheet of paper telling me which color is used for what for a particular project,as I have a number of shades of the same color in this project.

And the color thing is global, so I can't have a specific palette of colors for each project and have them show up for each window/file/project?

Thanks!

Yes, that is an Apple service. That is the Apple color picker which is completely managed by Apple.

The application get only the selected color. Thats all.

Thanks!

I guess I'll look at Apple sites to see if there is a better way to do this.

For anyone that is interested, this looks pretty helpful, including 3rd-party extensions;
